Case Names Kickstart Winner | construction equipment

Real Turf Solutions has been named the winner of the 2022 Case Construction Equipment Kickstart Business Development Competition. Terry McNair owns the landscaping company in Fort Valley, Georgia.

“We salute Terry for his entrepreneurial spirit, his people-oriented approach and his dedication to his entire team,” said Terry Dolan, vice president of Case-North America, in a prepared statement. “Through CASE Kickstart, we are honored to help the men and women who use our equipment every day pursue their career aspirations and realize their dreams.”

For McNair, the drive for meaningful change in his business began with a very real and personal experience.

“My eldest son was diagnosed with cancer when he was 10 and we were told he would never walk again,” McNair said in a statement. “It changed my perspective and my goals. Today he is completely healed.

After countless hours in hospitals and days away from work, McNair’s vision for his business, located 25 miles southwest of Macon, has evolved, according to Case.

“We started making changes,” McNair said. “I hired a new management team and developed a culture of ‘changing lives’. Everything has changed for the better since then. »

As part of the grand prize, McNair will have a Case compact track loader and attachment for six months. He will also benefit from a year of business consulting with Envisor Consulting. Owners Ken Thomas and Ben Gandy will use their proprietary Green Dot operating system, which provides a roadmap that simplifies, streamlines and ensures organizational development success and long-term sustainability, according to Case.

Equipment support, training and related advice is provided by Case’s Georgia-based dealer, Tidewater Equipment Company.

Case also announced four finalists:

Darren Peters of Peters’ Patio and Landscape (St. Kenyon, Minnesota)

Ricky Parmar of Castleridge Landscaping (Rocky View County, Alberta, Canada)

William Lindsey of Luxe Applied Sciences (Strasburg, Colorado)

· Alex Mackay of Beaumack Solutions (Three Hills, Alberta, Canada).

Each will receive a six-month online training subscription to Envisor Academy, Envisor’s online training hub.
