Hyundai Doosan Infracore showcased a “pre-prototype” version of its first crawler dozer at a media event in Tucson, Arizona, saying the first unit will be available in North America in the second quarter of 2022.
Company officials said the bulldozer category is the first of several that Doosan will add to its offering over the next three years, as it targets $ 10 billion in sales by 2025. The company aims to offer a “full range” of equipment to its dealers so that they can be a “one stop shop,” said engineering director Mooyoung Park. Current plans include the following machines:

Hyundai Doosan Infracore is now part of Hyundai Heavy Industries and is hosted under the same holding company as Hyundai Construction Equipment: Hyundai Genuine. Each entity has separate management and the brands will remain separate, according to CEO Edward Song.
The bulldozer on display was a 122 horsepower DD100 Doosan bulldozer with an operational weight of 25,309 pounds. A second bulldozer, with 130 horsepower, will be introduced in the first half of 2023. The two bulldozers fit into what Park has called the largest segment of the bulldozer market, those under 140 horsepower.
The Doosan DD100 will feature an 8-inch Smart Touch display, standard rear view camera, LED lights, and front, rear and side wiper blades.
The company has placed an emphasis on operator visibility, citing large glass surfaces and an in-line pre-filter that reduces obstruction of the view from the cab over the hood.
The bulldozer will come with a 6-way variable-angle blade, Park said. The standard blade has a capacity of 3.0 cubic yards, and the low ground pressure configuration will carry a blade with a capacity of 3.4 cubic yards. The tilt angle can be adjusted from 54 to 58 degrees, and the blade has a shake function.
