The Hilti Group has entered into a deal to acquire Fieldwire, a San Francisco-based construction technology company for approximately $ 300 million.
The strategic acquisition will bring together Fieldwire’s product and Hilti’s global brand and market reach.
Fieldwire provides a jobsite management platform that powers over one million jobsites worldwide. Founded in 2013, Fieldwire has established a presence in North America and has successfully grown internationally in Europe and Asia-Pacific, while creating market-specific features that enable customers to improve productivity on field.
The company is currently helping thousands of customers better manage their jobsites digitally by providing a reliable, easy-to-use, feature-rich, and device-independent software solution, the Hilti press release says. It is used by general and specialized contractors.
