Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas enters the articulated dump truck market with two models, the HA30 and HA45.
They target the 30 and 45 ton market segments.
The first of the new ADTs are now available to order through Hyundai’s North American network of authorized dealers. With rated payloads of 28 and 41 tonnes respectively, the HA30 and HA45 articulated dump trucks are designed to provide a haul truck match for Hyundai’s largest crawler excavators and wheel loaders.
“Hyundai is excited to enter the ADT market to better serve its aggregate and infrastructure construction customers,” said Mike Ross, senior vice president of CE sales, parts and service, Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas. “Our new ADT models are the first collaborative results of the combined design, engineering and manufacturing expertise of Hyundai Construction Equipment and Hyundai Doosan Infracore.”
Hyundai Heavy Industries Group bought the Doosan business in 2021, which now operates – together with Hyundai Construction Equipment – as a separate division within Hyundai Genuine. While retaining their respective management and dealer network structures, the two divisions plan for further integration in R&D, design, engineering, supply and manufacturing.
