Nexii owns and operates factories to manufacture and distribute innovative and sustainable building solutions across North America. Due to the high demand for green building products, Nexii is also working with licensees, called Nexii Certified Manufacturers (NCMs), to develop and operate additional factories in the United States and Canada. Hazelton is the first NCM plant to open in the United States and is operated by Pennsylvania partners John Wolfington and Dan Metzler of NEXUS-1, LLC. This plant brings hundreds of new green jobs to the region, with additional jobs expected to be added in the future and ancillary jobs generated by its construction projects. The 180,000 square foot facility is located on the site of a former steel pole manufacturing plant, has a team of over 100 people when it opens and immediately serves customers in the eastern United States .

Nexii panels are used to manufacture building products for industrial, residential, and commercial (CRU) retail units, high-performance enclosures, and retrofits of existing structures. Nexii buildings have up to 33% less embodied carbon than conventional building materials and resist fires, floods, hurricanes and earthquakes. Nexii’s build process also speeds up standard build times by up to 75% and eliminates almost all construction waste on site.
the Hazelton The plant is expected to produce up to 8 million square feet per year of Nexii panels for green projects across the Northeastern United States. With expanding federal policies aimed at mitigating the impacts of climate change, Nexii Hazleton is addressing an urgent need for sustainable buildings, with retrofits in particular being a critical requirement for many US customers and communities.
