Reconstruct Inc., a leader in AI-based remote construction management solutions, has raised $ 17.3 million in a Series B funding round. quality and remote progress monitoring, allowing construction project stakeholders to have more efficient workflows.
A graduate of the EnterpriseWorks incubator at Research Park, Reconstruct was founded in 2016 by several engineering professors at Grainger, including Illinois professor of computer science Derek Hoiem. Hoiem is currently the company’s scientific director.
According to the Reconstruct press release, this roundtable was led by Nemetschek Group, a world leader in construction software, as well as other leading architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) companies: EquipmentShare / Romulus Capital, STO Building Group, ThorntonTomasetti, SHoP Architects, Syska Hennessy and Asia Pacific Land.
Reconstruct says the investment will allow it to integrate with software like Bluebeam’s Revu, a markup and collaboration solution widely used in the construction industry.
